Department for Work and Pensions
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for employment, social security and pensions in the UK. The Publications section includes the Decision Makers' Guide, the Social Fund Guide and other technical guides and manuals aimed at advisers and other professionals. In addition there are collections of current legislation on social security (commonly known as the 'Blue Volumes') and child support (the 'Orange Volumes'), reported decisions of the Social Security and Child Support Commissioners and Upper Tribunal Judges1991 onwards, and Neligan's Digest of reported social security decisions. Other content includes press releases, recent consultation documents and many other publications. There are extensive links to government and other related sites.

Finance Tribunals
The functions of the five tribunals formerly administered together as the Finance Tribunals have all now been tranferred into the new tribunals structure - the Financial Services and Markets Tribunal and Pensions Regulator Tribunal into the Tax and Chancery Chamber of the Upper Tribunal, and the Claims Management Services Tribunal, Consumer Credit Appeals Tribunal and Estate Agents Appeals Panel into the General Regulatory Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal.

First-tier Tribunal (War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation)
The First-tier Tribunal (War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation) hears appeals from ex-servicemen or women in England and Wales about the two schemes that provide compensation for injuries in the armed forces - the War Pensions Scheme and the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme. Formerly known as the Pensions Appeal Tribunal, it has since 3 November 2008 formed the War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal. The site provides information on the appeal process, leaflets, forms, and procedural rules.

Pensions Appeal Tribunals - Scotland
Pensions Appeal Tribunals Scotland hear appeals from ex-servicemen and women in Scotland who have had their claims for a war pension rejected by the Secretary of State for Defence. Besides information on the appeal process, the site has a set of Medical Appendices which provide basic information on a range of medical conditions.

Pensions Ombudsman
The office of Pensions Ombudsman was established in 1991 to investigate and decide complaints and disputes about the way that occupational and personal pension schemes are run. The site has information, guidance, forms, annual reports and other publications. Determinations are available from 1995 onwards.

Pensions Regulator
The Pensions Regulator, created under the Pensions Act 2004, replaced the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority (Opra) on 6 April 2005 as the regulatory body for work-based pension schemes in the UK. Its site includes information, guidance, policy documents and codes of practice. Determinations are to be found within the section "How we regulate and enforce".
