Civil Bench Book

The Judicial Studies Board's Civil Bench Book is intended primarily as a guide for the inexperienced judge, and may also provide a useful tool for the more experienced judge when dealing with the less frequently encountered areas of substantive law. Civil Justice Council

The Civil Justice Council (CJC) is an advisory body, sponsored by the Ministry of Justice, which oversees and co-ordinates the modernisation of the civil justice system in England and Wales. The "Publications" page (this may only be accessible via the site map in some browsers) contains latest consultation responses, research reports and press releases 2004 onwards, and annual reports 2003 onwards.

Civil Procedure Rules

Current version of Civil Procedure Rules, on the Ministry of Justice web site, providing the text of the Rules and their relevant Practice Directions.  There are also links to forms on the HMCS web site. The site also includes consultation papers and responses.

Her Majesty's Courts Service: Guidance

The Guidance section of the HMCS web site includes the full text of the various procedural guides - Chancery Guide, Queen's Bench Guide, Admiralty & Commercial Court Guide, Mercantile Courts Guide, and Guide to Proceedings in the Court of Appeal Criminal Division.  A selection of forms and information leaflets is also available by selecting "Forms & Guidance" from the menu at the left side of the page.

Lawtel

Subscription service. Lawtel includes within its Litigator section (one of the "Specialist Areas") a searchable Civil Procedure database, containing the full text version of the Rules, their Schedules, Protocols and Practice Directions, plus commentary, articles and case law.

Yet Another Woolf Site

This site provides a searchable full text version of the Civil Procedure Rules including their Schedules, Protocols and Practice Directions, together with some case law. It includes amendments to the Rules introduced by the Civil Procedure (Amendment) Rules 2009 and the corresponding changes to Practice Directions. Various court guides are also reproduced on the site, but these are unofficial versions and may not be the most up to date editions. The site is produced by Roger Horne, barrister of Radcliffe Chambers, Lincoln's Inn.
