Sovereign Base Areas, Cyprus
The Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia are the portions of the island that were not included in the Republic of Cyprus upon independence. They have their own administration and laws distinct from those of Cyprus and the UK. The "Legal" section of this official web site contains an index of SBA legislation in force, including details of related/amending legislation. Links to full texts are provided for legislation, original or amending, as published in the Sovereign Base Areas Gazette. Elsewhere there are brief accounts of the organisation and procedure of the courts.
